TruckTA
Car hauling software for every role

One load. Every role. The same record.

Dispatch plans the trailer, the driver runs the load from a phone, the office bills and settles it, and the fleet owner sees their share. TruckTA keeps all of it on the load itself.

For dispatch teams

See every trailer's open spots before you assign.

  • The Active Board groups active work by driver, with a planning card for today and every delivery day.
  • Spots shows vehicles assigned against the trailer's capacity, and Picked shows how many are already loaded.
  • Assign from the + on a driver or drag a load onto them. Over capacity is a warning that asks you to confirm, never a wall.
  • Changes from teammates appear without a refresh, and your draft is never silently overwritten.

See dispatch teams or the Active Board in detail.

For drivers

The load, the inspection and the signed BOL in one app.

  • My Loads shows each load with pickup and delivery windows, the route, vehicles and VINs.
  • Mark picked up, then Mark delivered, one tap at a time. Nothing moves backward.
  • With Vehicle inspections & eBOL on, drivers scan the VIN, take guided photos, mark damage and collect the customer's signature.
  • Status changes and uploads made on a weak signal retry on their own, without recording anything twice.
  • The app works in English, Spanish and Russian. Signing screens stay in English for the customer.

For finance teams

Delivered loads become invoices, payments and pay.

  • Payment stages are calculated from what your team records, from Not Due and Ready to Invoice to Invoiced and Paid.
  • Record Invoice and Record Payment on the load. An overpayment is rejected, and corrections keep their history.
  • Weekly driver settlements: driver pay minus deductions plus adjustments equals net pay.
  • Save draft, Approve, then Mark paid with the date and method. TruckTA records payouts; it never moves money.
  • Drivers see their approved statements in the Driver App when the company turns it on.

See finance teams or finance & settlements.

For fleet owners and owner-operators

Fleet owners see their trucks. Only their trucks.

  • The Owner Portal shows a fleet owner their own trucks, trailers, drivers, loads, documents and saved settlements.
  • Every request is limited on the server to the owner's fleet and its assignment dates.
  • Owner statements add up as gross minus driver pay minus deductions plus adjustments, equal to net to owner.
  • Recurring rules charge dispatch fees, insurance or trailer rent weekly, every two weeks, monthly or with each settlement.
  • Owner-operators get one login for the Driver App and the Owner Portal.

See fleet owners or the Owner Portal.

For operations and compliance

Know what expires before it expires.

  • Each document type gets an expiration rule and reminder days: 90 for insurance, 60 for medical cards and 30 for the rest until you change them.
  • Drivers upload from the Driver App and the file counts right away. The office approves the driver upload to acknowledge it.
  • Audit Readiness checks 18 requirements across the company, drivers and equipment, with a readiness score and an audit packet ZIP.
  • FMCSA Company Verification checks USDOT status, authority, insurance filings, BOC-3 and out-of-service orders in one search.
  • TruckTA organizes your records and shows what needs attention. It does not certify compliance.

For small and growing fleets

Start with what you have. Grow on the same system.

Bring in the spreadsheets, load-board loads and paperwork you already have, and move to a larger plan as you add trucks.

  • Spreadsheets in

Import drivers, equipment, loads and accidents from CSV. Loads get a preview before anything is saved.

  • Loads from load boards

TruckTA Load Importer for Chrome brings in one reviewed load at a time from Central Dispatch and Super Dispatch pages.

  • Rate confirmations

Smart Load Import reads a rate confirmation PDF and fills in the load for your review. It starts unassigned.

  • Priced by active trucks

Starter covers up to 2 active trucks, Growth up to 7 and Fleet up to 20. Larger fleets use Enterprise.

FAQ

Car hauling software questions.

See also dispatch, the Driver App and finance.

Car hauling software runs the work of a company that moves vehicles on car carriers: deciding which driver and trailer take each load, giving drivers their loads, inspections and BOLs on a phone, billing and settling delivered loads, and keeping driver and equipment records current. TruckTA does this on one record per load.
Dispatchers plan on the Active Board, drivers use the TruckTA Driver App, finance teams track receivables and run driver and owner settlements, fleet owners use the Owner Portal, and operations staff keep documents, expirations and audit records current. Permissions decide what each person can see and change.
Yes. A load assigned on the Active Board and sent to the driver shows up in the Driver App as Ready to pick up. The driver's pickup and delivery update that same load, which then moves through its payment stages and into driver and owner settlements.
Yes. The TruckTA Driver App is a free download from the App Store and Google Play. Drivers see their assigned loads with every vehicle and VIN, update status, upload documents and, when the company turns it on, complete vehicle inspections and electronic BOLs.
Yes. The TruckTA Owner Portal is limited on the server to the owner's current fleet membership and assignment dates. A fleet owner sees their own trucks, trailers, drivers, loads, documents and saved settlement statements, and nothing from other fleets.
Driver settlements cover one Monday-to-Sunday week: driver pay minus deductions plus adjustments equals net pay. Owner settlements take gross, minus driver pay and deductions, plus adjustments, as net to owner. You Save draft, Approve and Mark paid; TruckTA records payouts but does not move money.
TruckTA keeps documents, expirations, accidents, violations and maintenance organized, checks FMCSA registration details and scores audit readiness across 18 requirements. It does not certify compliance or make FMCSA determinations, and your team stays responsible for its records.
Yes. TruckTA plans are priced by active trucks: Starter covers up to 2 active trucks, Growth up to 7 and Fleet up to 20. Larger fleets use Enterprise. You can start free and import your drivers, trucks and loads from CSV.
