Owner fleet setup
Every truck belongs to the right owner, on the right dates.
- Add an owner fleet with its owner type: Owner-Operator, Small Fleet Owner, Lease-On Owner, Company-Owned, Dispatch-Only or Other.
- Assign trucks and trailers with a start date, and unassign with an end date. The history stays.
- A unit belongs to one owner fleet at a time, and TruckTA blocks a double assignment.
- Drivers are never added by hand. They come from who drove the fleet's trucks, and when.
- Owner-operators get one login for the Driver App and the Owner Portal, and each can be switched off on its own.

Owner settlements
Net to owner, line by line.
- Gross − Driver pay − Deductions + Adjustments = Net to owner, from the loads the fleet's trucks delivered.
- Each load is matched by who drove which truck, and which fleet held it, on its delivery date.
- Recurring rules for dispatch fees, insurance, trailer rent, ELD and more: a fixed amount, a percentage of gross or per load, weekly, every two weeks, monthly or with each settlement, for the whole fleet or one truck or trailer.
- Save draft freezes the numbers, then Approve and Mark paid. Approved periods lock, so corrections go into the next one.
- The owner opens saved statements in the Owner Portal and downloads the same PDF your team sees.

Access & roles

Each owner user gets a role: Manager, Uploader or Viewer. Your team keeps the settlements, the loads and the final word.
- Invite Owner User by email, or copy the secure invitation link yourself if delivery can't be confirmed.
- Several people per fleet, and one login across several fleets with a fleet selector.
- Uploads from owners count right away. Your team sees Owner review pending and clicks Approve owner update.
- Memberships come up for review every 90 days, and access can be revoked or reactivated at any time.

Set up owner-operator gives one person a single login with both Driver App access for driving and Owner Portal access for their fleet. Each access can be revoked separately, and their truck's loads and settlements follow the assignment dates.

Gross minus driver pay minus deductions plus adjustments equals net to owner. Loads are matched to the fleet by the driver-to-truck and truck-to-fleet assignments on each load's delivery date, and saving a draft freezes the numbers into a statement.
Yes. Recurring rules add a fixed amount, a percentage of gross or a per-load charge weekly, every two weeks, monthly or with each settlement, for the whole fleet or one truck or trailer. Deduction types include Dispatch Fee, Insurance, ELD, Trailer Rent, Factoring Fee, Fuel, Repair, Tolls and Advance.
Manager can add and edit accidents, maintenance and violations, manage documents and correct driver and truck details flagged by Data Health. Uploader manages documents only. Viewer is read-only. A fleet can have several users, and one person can belong to several fleets.
Managers and Uploaders can upload, replace, edit and archive the document types your company allows on their drivers, equipment and safety records. The file counts right away, and your team acknowledges it with Approve owner update.
No. Every Owner Portal request is limited on the server to the owner's current fleet membership and the fleet's assignment dates. Other fleets, company-owned trucks and load payment status are not shown.
Yes. Owners sign in from a desktop or phone browser, or in the TruckTA mobile app with the same email and password.
