TruckTA collects and uses precise location for the company truck assigned to your signed-in Driver account so authorized company staff can see and manage fleet operations on Live Maps.
Background location
After you continue and grant the required device permission, TruckTA may collect precise location even when the app is closed or not in use while you remain signed in, linked to an eligible Driver profile, and assigned to a truck. Android shows a persistent notification while the background service operates. iOS shows its system location indicators.
Who can see it and how long it is kept
Authorized company staff may receive current location and permitted history. A currently assigned Fleet Owner may receive current location and no more than 24 hours of history. TruckTA retains raw and derived location for no more than 30 days. TruckTA does not sell location or use it for advertising.
Your choice and controls
You may choose Not now before the permission request. You may later revoke location access in iOS or Android settings, sign out, or uninstall the app. Your company may also remove Driver App eligibility or your current truck assignment.
Company settings
An authorized company user may enable Driver App location for company operations. TruckTA does not require a separate company signature contract. Each driver still receives the in-app disclosure and the operating system's location-permission choice before collection starts.
