TruckTA Load Importer Privacy Policy

Privacy policy for the TruckTA Load Importer Chrome extension.

TruckTA Load Importer is a Chrome extension that helps TruckTA users import reviewed load information from supported dispatch websites into their connected TruckTA account.

This Privacy Policy explains what website content the extension accesses, how it is used, and what the extension does not collect.

1. Information the extension accesses

TruckTA Load Importer may access visible website content on supported dispatch load pages only when the user chooses to use the extension.

This website content may include load details that are visible on the supported load page, such as:

  • Load ID or order ID
  • Vehicle details
  • Pickup and delivery details
  • Broker, shipper, customer, or agent details shown on the load page
  • Load amount, payment method, and payment terms shown on the load page
  • General load comments, instructions, and notes shown on the load page
  • Source page URL and source metadata needed for duplicate detection and import history

For Chrome Web Store disclosure purposes, the extension uses: Website content.

2. How the extension uses website content

The extension uses visible website content only to:

  • Show a load preview to the user
  • Allow the user to review load details before importing
  • Import the reviewed load into the connected TruckTA account
  • Create the load as an unassigned TruckTA load
  • Check whether the load was already imported
  • Open an already imported TruckTA load
  • Safely refresh or update an already imported TruckTA load after user review
  • Save import and update history inside TruckTA
  • Help prevent duplicate imports

The extension sends reviewed load information only to the TruckTA account selected and connected by the user.

3. What the extension does not collect

TruckTA Load Importer does not:

  • Read or store dispatch website passwords
  • Read or store dispatch website cookies
  • Read or store browsing history
  • Read or store unrelated website content
  • Read emails, text messages, or chat messages
  • Access health information
  • Access device GPS location
  • Import loads automatically in the background
  • Scrape websites in the background
  • Sell user data
  • Use user data for advertising
  • Use user data for creditworthiness, lending, or financial scoring

4. User control

The user must manually open a supported load page, review the detected load information, and confirm before the extension imports or updates anything in TruckTA.

Users can disconnect the extension from the extension popup.

TruckTA extension connection tokens can be revoked from TruckTA Settings -> Integrations -> Chrome Extension.

5. Data sharing

TruckTA Load Importer sends reviewed load information only to the user's connected TruckTA account.

TruckTA does not sell extension data to third parties.

TruckTA does not transfer extension data to third parties except as necessary to provide the TruckTA service, comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, or operate secure hosting and infrastructure.

6. Data storage

Load data imported through the extension is stored in the connected TruckTA account.

TruckTA may store source metadata and import/update history to help prevent duplicates, troubleshoot imports, and maintain an audit trail.

7. Security

TruckTA Load Importer connects to TruckTA through a user-generated connection token.

The extension does not include Supabase service-role keys, database credentials, or dispatch website credentials.

All load imports and updates are processed through TruckTA backend APIs.

8. Supported websites

TruckTA Load Importer works only on supported dispatch load pages.

Currently supported source: Central Dispatch load detail pages.

Additional supported sources may be added later.
